Puff print is a raised screen print. It works similarly to standard flat screen printing, up until the drying process.

The ink used for puff printing is mixed with a heat-activated foaming agent. The ink gets printed on flat same as standard screen printing. But then,as the ribbons goes through the drying machine, the ink for custom designs expands and begins to puff upward.

Puff print gives your designs a distinctive raised three-dimensinal effect. And you can combine standard screen print and embossed puff print in one design on ribbons.
